Breath Balance account or BBA is the total number of breaths that are yet to be taken in this lifetime.
An average adult human at rest breathes about 20,000 times a day. Humans can live for more than 100 years. Some of our ancestors lived for more than 300 like tortoise or kurma which can stay underwater at rest for more than 5 hours in a single breath.
But when caught in a net under stress their oxygen depletes rapidly. Under stress, the brain burns more oxygen. When we are angry we need more oxygen and take rapid breaths due to the energy required by the brain. Oxygen or prana or the life-giving energy determines
the rate of oxidation in the body and how long we live. Pranayama or the 4th step in hatha yoga practice or the second step in tantra yoga prepares the brain with more oxygen and an increase in energy in the body. It stretches the amounts of oxygen we inhale in each breath. So the more oxygen we can take in each breath, the fewer breaths we take from our BBA. Pranayama prepares you for pratyahara or the complete withdrawal from the senses to go inward towards the static. Towards him. The true self. The infinite. The everlasting. The blissful consciousness. The pure energy. Jai guru Mahadeva. Shiva is our guru of tantra yoga. Look inside. Focus on the breath. You can manage anger. Practice. Tantra is for doers, not philosophers. Discover thy self. Boom Shankara!
